Dairy Product Trade Groups To Meet Next April In Chicago
ARLINGTON, VA The American Butter Institute (ABI) will combine its joint annual meeting with that of the American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI), beginning in 1999.
Both organizations will meet at the Chicago Marriott OHare from April 25-27, 1999. The meetings will combine educational sessions, technical workshops, and social activities, to allow dairy industry executives the opportunity to become better educated about trends in the industry.
This joint annual meeting represents an exciting new opportunity for ABI members to benefit from sharing a conference with people representing companies that manufacture other dairy products, said Jerry Kozak, the Executive Director of ABI.
Warren Clark Jr., the Chief Executive Officer of ADPI, said that the joint annual meeting will be a way for people who are essentially in the same line of work to meet in an efficient and convenient setting, to everyones mutual benefit.
ABIs annual conference traditionally is held in early March. It will be moved to meet the time frame of the ADPI annual meeting, which is in late April.
ABI is the Arlington, VA-based trade group representing the nations manufacturers of butter products.
ADPI is the Chicago-based trade group representing the nations manufacturers of dry milk, evaporated milk, and whey and whey products.
